Hong Kong Day 5

We had a wonderfully simple day today. This morning we spent time at the school. Jasmine and I were formally introduced to the school today, played badminton, and ate lunch in the canteen. The food was nice but not great. Their version of teryaki is very different, too plain. In the afternoon we traveled to the HK Heritage Museum and it was wonderful to see all of the many different artifacts from China and Tibet. Some of the other galleries included a tribute to the Cantonese Opera, the New Territories, and art from Huang Xinbo.  Later in the day we traveled to Yuen Long to eat in the Food district. It was, to say the least, most interesting. A real sushi dinner followed by mango wrapped in sticky rice with coconut shavings. I have to thank the school Principal for the dinner and evening.
