VOD: James 3

Just do yourself a favor and stop what you are thinking about and simple praise a human being for being in your life. Now think about how many times you tells yourself over to a cause of simply telling others that they are a blessing to you. How many times do we curse those around or near us in the same hour or moment that we praised God for His grace and righteousness? We must constantly be vigilant for the flesh is hateful, selfish, and spiteful. We can share the word of God after unjustly chastising one of His creations. Far too often we do the Devil’s work for him. Let’s do Good work instead.

It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God. From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water.
